《总统》为家庭剧。讲述了男主人公从最底层通过不断奋斗逐步登上总统宝座的故事。该剧虽说以政治为题材，却与以前的针对韩国现代政治系列剧存在根本差异。主要描述了人权律师出身的总统与其藏匿起来的儿子和好的过程。。胡正在埋头苦干地赶剧本之际，被飞入屋绑架掳去，子扬接手调查，胡乘机逃脱，飞受伤被锺所救，锺悉心照顾飞。原来锺乃吴的太太，吴被绑架当天，她在房中目睹一切，锺之所以接近飞，目的是为了设局引飞说出绑架始末。飞知悉后已太迟，锺展开一场腥风血雨的报复行动………。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved. He wants to make a film about women but he doesn’t reveal much: he observes them, takes cue, until his imaginary throw them into another era, in a past where the noise of the sewing machines fills a workplace handled and populated by women, where men have minor and marginal roles and cinema...。
