改编自国内知名作者水千丞的处女作《花开有时，颓靡无声》，泰国Bigsuperstar公司出品，中国台湾导演陈怡妤执导。该剧讲述了风流少爷金小宝始终渴望着一份良缘，不料这良人竟降临在他面前，还卷入了一场杀身之祸！小宝本以为出手英雄救美就能如愿迎娶美人，但自己却失了身！原来这“美人”不仅性别成谜，连身世也和金家有着剪不断的关系……。塞巴斯蒂安国家公园在美国马里兰州一个名叫克拉里奇的海滨小镇，人们生活悠哉游哉，尽情享受着造物主的恩赐。但是某天，两名潜水人员意外身亡，他们死状恐怖，引发了小镇的恐慌以及政府和科研人员对当地水质的调查和关注。有人对当地养鸡场肆无忌惮向大海排放鸡粪的行为提出指责，也有人信誓旦旦宣称经济与环保齐头并进。但是似乎在某一个时间点，神秘的感染事件大规模爆发，许多人的身上长满疱疹创癣，医院人满为患。未过多久，大规模死亡爆发，另有许多受感染者表现出诡异恐怖的举止。与这起事件有关的影像资料遭到政府封锁，而新闻报道者唐娜•汤普森（凯瑟尔·唐纳荷 Kether Donohue 饰）则担当了这起事件的陈述者…… 本片荣获2012年多伦多国际电影节观众选择奖第二名。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
