「明明是『環南四少』？為什麼其中一個是女的？還有，為什麼這四少的照片，永遠只有三個人？」 「其中一個是少奶奶啊！」 「那另一個呢？為什麼照片裡永遠沒有他？」 2022年的台北，已經是一個多元的城市。一座位在台北在淡水河與新店溪沖刷上的三角洲上，有一座擁有55年歷史提供整個首都食材的傳統市場，他們叫它「環南」。有人的地方就有江湖，1991年的「環南市場」當然就有了「環南四少」！有少年的地方就有氣血方剛的純愛，只不過屬於「環南四少」的純愛，跟市場多元的食材一樣，有著如秘密一般的多元情感。唯一的證據，就是那張只有三個人，卻標明「環南四少」的照片。但當年大家都不知道這「三男一女」的環南四少，其中大家以為28歲的第四少，居然來自2022年⋯⋯。。本片记录了西部非洲的乡下青年到城市打工的经历。许多尼日利亚青年离开位于内陆的家乡来到沿海国家象牙海岸打工，许多人在首都阿比让的平民区落脚。本片主人公是一位仿照美国电影明星取名爱德华·罗宾逊的年轻人，他在摄影机前讲述自己及其同伴的故事。 The film depicts an ordinary week in the lives of men and women from Niger who have migrated to Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire for work.
