本作は、ある高校の国語教師が、クラス全員参加の「手紙ゲーム」を提案することから始まる学園ヒューマンミステリー。これは1人1通、クラスの誰かに匿名で本音を書いた手紙を出すもので、手紙には愛の告白や暴露話など衝撃的な内容が書かれていた。ゲームは予想外の盛り上がりを見せ、生徒たちはクラスメイトたちの表と裏の顔を知り、喧嘩や助け合いを繰り返しながら友情を育んでいく。。Set in a small town in West Texas, four boyhood friends who made a solemn promise to leave town together immediately after high school graduation must now "put up or shut up." The clock is ticking, and as all 81 people in town watch, offer advice, and place bets, these four very different boys struggle with the biggest decision of their lives . . . whether to stay or leave home...。
