《巡夜人日记》讲述了李氏朝鲜时代，专门负责抓鬼的特别巡逻队“守夜人”的故事，郑允浩在剧中将饰演以俊秀的外貌受到众多女性喜爱，但内心深处却只爱着一个人的纯情男角色，而在郑允浩之前确定出演《巡夜人日记》的丁一宇则将饰演因为能够看到鬼魂的特殊能力而成为守夜人的朝鲜王子。。The story centers on a religiously conservative, married southern woman who receives a message from God instructing her to act as a surrogate mother and carry a child for two married gay men who live in Boston - a Jewish doctor and and African-American dance choreographer.
