此剧讲述为了爱情和欲望抛家弃子的母亲，与怀着怨恨的女儿多年后相遇，展开复仇计划的故事。。此為TV版動畫第三部，從1997年4月4日至1997年9月26日放映，全26話。 此作完全脫離原作，為動畫原創故事，原創的角色也很多。由於是動畫原創，部分設定和原作設定相矛盾，並且原本的主角：莉娜等人的存在變成了半個旁觀者。故事走向太過於沉重路線，和原作原本的作風相距甚遠，所以沒有受到與前二作相等的評價。。When the coolest guy in school discovers that the new girl sees through his popularity and good looks, he enlists the class nerd to take over his social media accounts to add substance to his style.。
