Looking to find an authentic, blood-curdling good fright for Halloween, five friends set off on a road trip in an RV to track down these underground Haunts. Just when their search seems to reach a dead end, strange and disturbing...。干练开朗的女孩竹村凛凛子（吉高由里子饰）出生在东京下町一个买豆腐的普通家庭中，但是她自幼怀有强烈的正义感，最终沿着这条路不断奋进，成为横滨地方检察厅港南支部的一名检察官。可是坐到检察官的位置上之后，凛凛子却发现一切并没有想象的那么简单。她太过单纯，容易轻信别人，问讯的过程中往往就被嫌疑人所带跑。这点令与之搭档的资深事务官相原（安田显饰）和前辈检察官大冢（三浦翔平饰）十分之不爽。而在随后的日子里，凛凛子还将面临来自亲情、友情、爱情的严苛考验…… 本片根据阿川佐和子的小说改编。。本片是导演扬•特洛尔1971年的名作《大移民》的续篇，两部电影均改编自Vilhelm Moberg的The Emigrants系列小说。本片取材此系列的后两部小说，The Settlers 和The Last Letter Home，讲述一批瑞典移民在19世纪中期的明尼苏达州建造家园的故事。
