Alex Freed is a literature professor. He has the gambling vice. When he has lost all his money, he borrows from his girlfriend, then his mother and finally some bad guys that chase his. Despite of all this he cannot stop gambling.。由王家卫导演亲自挑选的《东邪西毒》、《一代宗师》、《花样年华》等电影从未曝光的珍贵片段，包括删减片段及花絮等组成的纪录片，短片依然是以导演王家卫的方式打开，讲述作者受王导之托创作纪念短片并立下一蛋之约，于是耗时2年，去到很多地方，见过许多人，找回好多珍贵的底片，虽有一些已经修复不到，仍借由这支短片得以让曾经的擦身而过终再重逢。。
