The Life & Times of Tim is an animated comedy that tells the story of Tim Dildarian, an average cubicle monkey in his mid 20s that works for the generic company "Omnicorp" in New York. Throughout the series, Tim constantly finds himself in increasingly awkward situations in both his work and personal life。云城首富之女陆知梦隐瞒身份与外卖员林彦相恋结婚，后林彦车祸，她大出血，陆寒山以救她为条件逼林彦离开，还伪造假象。五年后，林彦患脑癌，让女儿小宝带玉佩寻母，陆知梦误认小宝是骗子。林彦病危时，陆知梦发现玉佩真相赶来，可林彦已气息微弱。
